BrAva Mom Prom 2020

The 7th annual BrAva Mom Prom, originally scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2020, at the Washington County Jr. Fair Building in Marietta, Ohio, HAS BEEN POSTPONED until SAT., SEPT. 19, 2020. 

UPDATED & POSTED, 3/16/20:

The ladies of the BrAvaFight committee have discussed the situation with COVID-19 and the state, national and global response to the pandemic. In light of this public health crisis, we have decided to postpone the 7th Annual BrAva Mom Prom until Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020. 

We will not have another ticket sale for admission tickets. If you are a current admission ticket holder, you don’t need to do anything. However, if you are unable to attend and need or want a refund, you may request one via Eventbrite or by sending an email to bravamomprom@gmail.com.  We will also continue to utilize the wait list and encourage those who still want a ticket to join the wait list.

We will continue to collect raffle donations to make this the biggest and best Mom Prom yet. Those wishing to donate may contact Anna Huffman at 740.525.4612 or anna.huffman7@gmail.com, or Roseann Nicholson at 740.538.3651 or rose.nicholson1986@gmail.com.

Please understand that this was not a decision we made lightly, and that we are thinking of the health and comfort of all of you, but, especially, our four amazing Mom Prom queens, whose immunosuppressed children will be waiting for them at home after our magical night. We will all get through this together, stronger than ever for an important cause.

Ticket holders: Raffles and luminaries are now on sale. Buy your tickets now to save time the night of the event, as we’ll label them with your name for you!

NEW THIS YEAR: BrAva has graciously absorbed the Eventbrite fees for tickets over the years. In the interest of raising as many funds as possible for local families affected by cancer, we are passing on fees to our guests this year. Together, we can make a difference!

IMPORTANT EVENT INFO:

  • We will require a printed or mobile ticket this year! (That is to say you can either print the ticket from your email or have your email up and ready to scan on your mobile device at Check-In.)
  • This year’s event will again take place at the Washington County Jr. Fair Building in Marietta, Ohio.
  • To save yourself time, you should purchase your raffle tickets prior to the event, beginning Jan. 24, 2020. To purchase, visit the Tickets link on this site after that date! We’ll print your name on them ahead of time and all you have to do is pick them up and drop them into the buckets for the prizes you want to win. You may purchase raffle tickets online until April 10!

To date, BrAva has donated nearly $300,000 to CureSearch and local families affected by childhood cancer. BrAva thanks the Mid-Ohio Valley for its support of this worthy cause!

While tickets are sold out, here’s the full scoop on all things tickets!

TICKET INFO:
• Tickets are $50 each.
• There will be a two-ticket-per-transaction limit.
• You will have 10 minutes to complete your transaction. You will need the first and last name, phone number, email and age of EACH attendee.
• Admission tickets will be the ONLY ticket type for sale on Jan. 17. You may return to the ticket site Jan. 24 or later to purchase raffle tickets and luminaries.
• Paper tickets (print at home) or mobile tickets (on your phone) ARE needed at the door. Once you have purchased your tickets, you will get an email from Eventbrite with your tickets. You may also need them for special offers various vendors may be offering for guests prior to the event. (For example, we might find a formal wear shop willing to offer a percentage off your purchase with your ticket!)
• Please DO fill out the information to add your name to the waitlist in the event that tickets sell out.
• If your name does come up on the wait list, you will have the opportunity to purchase ONLY ONE ticket. If you do not think you will want only ONE ticket down the road, please either join more than once (knowing you can only get one per occurrence and that you can’t have more than one in your own name) OR don’t join the waitlist. We are trying  to limit the work of the committee in contacting those on the wait list and explaining that there is only ONE TICKET available for said wait list person.
